PERSONAL HYGIENE ( A1 ) I.Objectives : After the lesson Ss will be able to read a letter to understand the details about Hoa and her family 1.Language contents :- * Grammar: - The content of the letter( about habits and routines) - The questions( P. 100) * Vocabulary: harvest, take care of, hygiene, iron…. 2.Skills: Listening, reading 3.Attitude : It helps ss to have motivation , happiness to communicate with each other in English . Besides, the lesson can helps ss work harder II.Teaching aids : Text book, poster, picture, real things. 1.Teacher: English book, lesson plan 2.Students: Book, workbook,review the old lesson, preview vocabularies III.Techniques: Job guess, Rub Out and Remember, Open Prediction, write-it-up IV.Procedures: 1.Organization:(1’) + Who’s absent today? - Absent students: Nobody + What the date? + How are you today? + Date of teaching:7A,B: 17/1/2018 7D: 19/1/2018 2.Checking the old lesson: *Steps: Teacher and Ss’ activities Contents Step 1.Warm up T: gives the definitive of the jobs Ss: listen to the definition and give the correct job word T: correction and repetition Step 2.Pre- reading - Ask Ss to answer the questions about Hoa. - Ask Ss to work in pair to answer the questions . - Read the questions aloud. - Introduce the reading.and ask Ss to read the reading. T: elicit the new words. Model them Ss: repeat in chorus, individual. T: write them on the BB. Ss: give meaning Copy down T: ask ss to have a guess the right order. Ss: guess and compare with their partner. Step 3.While reading :(7’) T: ask ss to open the book, read and check the prediction. T: Have ss read the letter( P.99)then ask ss to guess these answering . Ss: Listen and try to guess by answering the questions - eliciting - listening to the tape, choral & individual repetition - checking ss’ prediction - Ss answer and compare with partner and wittedly - correction Step 4.Post reading : (6’)(write-it-up) - T lets Ss do the exercise - Ss write about what their mother wants them to do and what she wants them not to do 4.Consolidation:(2’) T: consolidate the past form of the irregular verbs Job guessing(5’) * She works in a hospital. .
