Review the present progressive tense. *Knowledge: Sports and Pastimes *Vocabulary: badminton, aerobics, soccer, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, jog, swim… *Grammar / Structures: Which sports do you play? Which sports does she play? What are you doing now? What is she doing now? 2. Skills: Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing. 3. Attitude : It helps ss to have motivation , happiness to communicate with each other in English . Besides, the lesson can helps ss work harder. II. PREPARATION: 1. Ss listens and answer the t’s questions. 2. Presentation T. asks sts to look at the pictures on P 124 and answer T’s questions. T. gives new words. Rub out and remember. T. calls a student to the board and rewrite words. T. shows the pictures in A1 and ask sts to read out the sentences in A1 – P124. T. reminds the structure of the present progressive. T. asks some sts and sts answer T’s questions. 3. Practice. T. explains A2 – P125 and ask sts to do it. Work in pairs T. calls some pairs to the board to practice. 4. Further practice - Play a game: Noughts and crosses. T. draws a table with words in the lesson. - Divides class into two teams. One team is Noughts(O) and the other is Crosses(X). - Two teams choose the words in th eboxes in turns. Then use the adverb of frequence.
