Language contents: * Grammar: - simple present . * Vocabulary: uniform, break, a 20-minute break, cafeteria, snack, popular. 2.Skills: listening, reading 3.Attitude : It helps ss to have motivation , happiness to communicate with each other in English . Besides, the lesson can helps ss work harder II.Teaching aids: Flipcharts, sub-board. 1.Teacher: English book, lesson plan 2.Students: Book, work book III.Techniques: True & False , pair work, group work.. IV. Procedures : 1.Organization:(2’) + Who’s absent today? - Absent students: Nobody + What the date? + How are you today? + Date of teaching: Class 7D : 16/ 10/ 2017 7A,B : 17 /10/ 2017 2.Checking the old lesson: (3’) T asks SS to go to the board and write the new words, newstructures and do exercises T corrects the mistakes *Steps: 1: Warm up (7m) Hangman - schedule (8 letters) - schools (7) - classes (7) 2. New lesson Step 1:Pre reading:(15m) • Pre teach vocab: - uniform (translation) - break (what do you do after each period?) - cafeteria (translation) - snack (realia) - (to) sell * Checking vocab: Rub out and remember: - Get ss to copy the words into their books and then ask them to close their books - get ss to copy the words into their books and then ask them to close their books - rub out the new words one at a time. Each time T rubs out a word in English, points to the Vietnamese translation and ask “ what’s in English?” when all English words are rubbed out , go through the Vietnamese list and get ss to call out the English words or rewrite the words • T/F statements prediction: (6m) -Hang the poster of T/F statements on the board and ask ss to work in pairs and guess which statements are true and which are false (statements on page 45) a. Students do not usually wear school uniform b. There are classes on Saturday morning c. Students don,t have a break in the afternoon d. The school cafeteria sells food to students e. The school cafeteria only opens at lunchtime f.
