B. activities in seasons (B2- P.139) I.Objectives: - After the lesson, Ss can - describe and write about the thing they do in each seasons. *Knowledge: Activities and seasons *Vocabulary: Hot, cold, warm, cold, summer, winter, spring, fall/ autumn, sailing, basketball. *Grammar / Structures: What do you do in the (Spring) ? 2. Skills: Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing. 3. Attitude : It helps ss to have motivation , happiness to communicate with each other in English . Besides, the lesson can helps ss work harder. II. PREPARATION: 1. Teacher: lesson plan, pictures, word cards, a stereo, CD 2. Students: review the old lesson, preview vocabularies III. METHOD. Pelmanism, ROR, IV. PROCEDURE: 1. Organization (1’) T asks ss to go to the BB write the new words. T corrects the mistakes and gives marks. Class 6A ……………… 6B ………………. 6D ……………… 2. Old lesson (5’) 3. New lesson Sts and T’s activities Time Contents 1. warm up. Revision: Bingo Ask sts to give nouns for sports and write them on the board. - Have sts choose any 4 words on the board and write them down on a piece of paper. - Call out the words until someone has ticked all the four words and shorts “Bingo”. He / she wins the game. 2. Pre writing. Work in pairs ask and answer about the things you do in each season T. calls some pairs practice before class. 3. While writing. Ask sts to write a list of things they do in the different seasons. - Make dialogues with a parner. Sts work in groups write a passage about the thing sts do in different seasons.. 4. Post writing. Ask sts to read their passages before class. T. correct. 5’ 10’ 10’ 9’ Bingo Suggested words; Swimming, jogging, soccer, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, ..... Ask and answer about the things you do in each season. P1: What do you often do in the Spring? P2: I often go for a walk. P1: What do you often do in the winter ? P2: I sometimes play soccer.
