BACK TO SCHOOL Lesson 3: Section B – Name and Addresses(1,2,3) I.Objective: By the end of this period, Ss will be able to ask for and give some information. 1. Language contents : * Vocabulary : family name, middle name, age, address * Grammar : Wh -questions. 2.Skills: reading comprehension 3.Attitude : It helps ss to have motivation , happiness to communicate with each other in English . Besides, the lesson can helps ss work harder II. Teaching aids : Flipcharts 1.Teacher:English book, lesson plan 2.Students: Book, workbook III.Methods: : Noughts and crosses, open dialogue ,pair work ,group work . IV. Procedures: 1.Organization:(2’) + Who’s absent today? - Absent students: Nobody + What the date? + How are you today? + Date of teaching: Class 7B: 28/ 8/ 2017 7A,D: 29/ 8/ 2017 2.Checking the old lesson: (3’) T asks SS to go to the board and write the new words T corrects the mistakes Teacher & ss’ activities Contents Step1 Warm up - Divide the class into two teams. -Ask Ss to choose a number and ask & answer with the cues Ss: try to do. Step2 Presentation T: use a picture to ask some questions Ss: answer them. T: Give out the new words model them. Ss: repeat in chorus and give meaning Copy down T: model a dialogue Ss: listen and repeat in chorus ,in groups. Ss: ask and answer the questions B1 on page 15. Step3.Practice - Model the dialogue with a student in class. - Ask them to work in pairs.( open pairs and closed pairs ). Ss: do as requested. - Ask Ss to work in pairs to complete the dialogue. Ss :ask and answer the questions about themselves. 4.Consolidation(1’) - Have Ss do in pairs ask and answer.
