Mô tả: Date of preparation:2/1/2018 Period : 60 LANGUAGE FOCUS 3 I.OBJECTIVES : By the end of this period, ss will be able to practise further in the simple past tense, wh-questions, comparatives with more/ less/ fewer ; review how to ask and answer about prices with “How much …?” 1. Language contents: * Vocabulary: * Grammar : - The simple past tense. - Comparatives. - Talking about prices with “How much …?” - Writing the locations. - Talking about distances. 2.Skills: writing 3.Attitude : It helps ss to have motivation , happiness to communicate with each other in English . Besides, the lesson can helps ss work harder II.TEACHING AIDS :- Lesson plan, text book, poster, pictures, handouts. 1.Teacher: English book, lesson plan 2.Students: Book, workbook,review the old lesson, preview vocabularies III.TECHNIQUES: Kim’s game, Maples the dialogue, Rub Out and Remember,. . IV.PROCEDURES : 1.Organization:(2’) + Who’s absent today? - Absent students: Nobody + What the date? + How are you today? +Date of teaching: 7A, 7B, 7D: ……../1/2018 2.Checking the old lesson: (3’) T asks SS to go to the board and write the new words, newstructures and do exercises T corrects the mistakes *Steps: Teacher and Ss’ activities Contents Step 1.Warm up T: present some words on the board, then erase them, ask Ss to rewrite Ss: skim the words given and rewrite them without looking back T: ask some questions to introduce the lesson - presentation the words - situation, picture - modeling - choral & individual repetition - cleans & asks ss to read individual T: present some statements on the board - lets Ss predict the order of those statements Ss: read the statements given and arrange them in the proper order T: present the passage and read it clearly Ss: listening to the T, choral & individual repetition - checking ss’ prediction Ss: answer and compare with partner and wittedly T: correction - T presents some verbs in the simple past tense on the board and ask them to learn by heart - Ss listen & copy down T: Base on verbs in the box , complete sentences individual _ Present before class Ss: Listen and try to do T: Control and correct mistakes T: Speak again the present tense, future tense and past tense.
