PERSONAL INFORMATION Lesson 1: Section A – Telephone numbers (1,2,3) I.Objectives At the end of the lesson Ss will be able to ask for and give telephone numbers and further practice in addresses. 1.Language contents * Grammar : - Future tense : S + will + V * Vocabulary: will, (to) call, telephone number, telephone directory. 2.Skills: reading,listening 3.Attitude : It helps ss to have motivation , happiness to communicate with each other in English . Besides, the lesson can helps ss work harder II.Teaching aids: Book, color chalk , and sub-board 1.Teacher English book, lesson plan 2.Students: Book, work book III.Techniques: Jumbled words,Noughts and crosses , survey, chatting, pairwork, groupwork IV. Procedures: 1.Organization:(2’) + Who’s absent today? - Absent students: Nobody + What the date? + How are you today? + Date of teaching: Class 7B : 6/ 9/ 2017 7D : 7/ 9/ 2017 7A : 9/ 9/ 2017 2.Checking the old lesson: (3’) T asks SS to go to the board and write the new words T corrects the mistakes Teacher & ss’ activities Contents Step 1.Warm up: “ Jumbled words” T: Ask ss to rewrite some numbers . ( use sub-board) Ss : try to write. T: correct and ask sts to read again. Step 2.Presentation : T: ask some questions. Ss: answer them. T: elicit new words. Model them. Ss: listen and repeat in chorus and in groups. T: write them on the BB. Ss: Give meaning. Copy down. T: let ss listen to the tape. Ss:listen and read in groups. Step 3.Practice: - Guide ss to read telephone numbers ( in oral ) Ss: Listen and take note. T: Do example first and ask ss to practice in pairs. Ss: Look and practice. T: control and correct mistakes. Step 4.Pre-listening: T: Re speak the way to read the telephone number .and read once Ss: listen carefully. Step 5.While-listening: T: Read all again 3 times then ask ss to rewrite the telephone numbers that they’ve heard. Ss: Listen and try to write. Step 6.Post-listening(5’) T: Ask some ss to write on the board then read each telephone number again. Ss: Look ,listen and check again. 4.Conclusion.(2’) - Remark all period and give some telephone numbers and ask Ss to read aloud.
