Mô tả: Date of preparation : 21/ 10/ 2017 Period: 29th Unit 5: WORK AND PLAY Lesson 4: Section B-IT’S TIME FOR RECESS ( B1 + B2 ) I.Objectives: By the end of this period, Ss will be able to talk about some recess activities and listen and take the information and talk about actions at recess. 1. Language contents: * Grammar: - simple present tense & simple progressive tense. * Vocabulary: recess, bell, excited, chat, blind man’s bluff, catch, indoor, marble. 2.Skills: Listening, speaking 3.Attitude : It helps ss to have motivation , happiness to communicate with each other in English . Besides, the lesson can helps ss work harder II.Teaching aids: Color chalk, picture and sub-board. 1.Teacher: English book, lesson plan 2.Students: Book, workbook III.Techniques: Ask and answer, pair work, group work ,chatting IV. Procedures : 1.Organization:(2’) - Class 7B,7D,7A + Who’s absent today? - Absent students: Nobody + What the date? + How are you today? + Date of teaching: Class 7A,7D : 30/ 11/ 2017 7B: 31/10 / 2017 2.Checking the old lesson: (3’) T asks SS to go to the board and write the new words, newstructures and do exercises T corrects the mistakes *Steps: Teacher & ss’ activities Contents 3Step 1.Warming up T & Ss talking about the recess at school. Step 2.Presentation - Show the pictures and set the scene Ss: Listen T: From warming up teacher sets and gives out the meaning of some new words . - Practice them and reading the text. Ss: Look and copy down. - Listen carefully and practice in chorus and independent. T: Listen and correct pronunciation. Step 3.Practice T: Let Ss look at the pictures carefully and practice asking and answering. Ss: Look and practice in pairs T: Control and correct their mistakes. Step 4.Further practice T: Ask ss to practice in pairs Ss: Practice T: Control and guide Ss to do *B2-Listen 1. Pre-listening: T: Set situation and guide the way to do. Ss: Listen carefully. 2. While- listening T: Read the transcription 3 times and let ss to match first then change their classmates. Ss: Listen and try to do. 3.
