Mô tả: Date of preparation: 5/3/2018 Period 81 Unit:13 ACTIVITIES (GADT) Lesson 1 : A- SPORTS (A1 - P.129) I.Objective - By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to practice listening skills for specific information. 1.Language contents - Vocabulary: skate-boarding, roller-skating, roller-blading, baseball, basketball, table tennis, teenager - Grammar: What sports do they like? 3.Attitude : It helps ss to have motivation , happiness to communicate with each other in English . Besides, the lesson can helps ss work harder II.Teaching aids 1.Teacher’s preparation: English book, textbook, lesson plan, posters. 2.Ss’preparation: Textbook, notebook, and reference book,review the old lesson, preview vocabularies about sports. III.Techniques: - Bingo, Rub Out and Remember, Example exchange - Pair work, group work, individual IV. T: Show pictures, asking the questions Ss: look at the picture and answer T: Set situation and present some new words then practice them. Ss: Look , copy down and practice reading in choral & individual - Checking vocabularies. T calls ss go to the board and match the pictures with their right words. *T set the sence: Guess the ten most popular sports in the U.S.A T: clean & ask Ss read individual lets Ss guess Ss guess and write on their papers - Step2.While reading : T: Have ss Read the text A1 – P.129 And check their prediction: *Comprehension questions: T asks ss to read the text gain and then answer the questions. a.What’s the most popular sport in USA? b.Which sport was at the seventh position in USA? c.Is baseball your favorite sport? If not, what is your first choice? d.Do you like table tennis? e.Who liked table tennis in the USA? T asks ss to play “Lucky numbers” T introduces how play this game, and asks some questions. How many numbers are there? 8 numbers with 8 questions, some of them are lucky numbers. You choose one question and answer, if is right you have got 2 marks.. -T devides the class into 2 groups. Practice (18’) T: present, read and guide how to do the exercise Ss: change the adjectives to adverbs and write on the board. T: Control and correct mistakes again. T: Have ss read the passage and complete the passage by changing the adjectives to adverbs Ss: Listen carefully and try to do in group then present aloud before class.
