How old is he? – He’s 12 years old. 3.New lesson: * In last lesson, We practised the qs: Who’s this/that? – it’s…..” Today , We are going to learn numbers from 21 to 100 and the ways to pronounce plural nouns. TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES Step 1. Warm up (3’) Guessing game . One student holds a piece of paper with a number on it. The others guess which is the numbers Step 2. PRESENTATION(10’) 1. Preteach: - Uses the card to present voabulary: + Thirty:30 / Forty: 40 /Fifty: 50/ Sixty:60 Seventy:70/ Eight:80/ Ninety: 90. One hundred:100 + twenty-one/ twenty-two… + Thirty-one/ thirty-two… * Checking: What And Where - Introduces the words by explaining the meaning, using the situation. - Reads the words for the modal (3 times ). Then helps SS to repeat ( 2 times ). - Checks S’s reading in individual & corrects the mistakes. Step 3. PRACTICE:(22ms) Realia drill B2 P.36 - Asks Ss to practise speaking(use real things around the classroom) There is + n (singular) There are + n (plural) Eg:  S1: There is one door.  S2: And there are 22 desks Step 4. FURTHER PRACTICE:(8ms): - T runs throught the pics in B2. Then check Ss’ answer. Transformation writing (can be left for homework) - Listening to the words. - Repeat in chorus then in individual. - Giving the meaning & the pronunciation. -Copying the words.
