Mô tả: Preparing: 16/ 8/ 2016 Period: 2nd UNIT 1: BACK TO SCHOOL Lesson 1: A1,3-5 (10-12-13) I.Aims: By the end of this period,Ss will be able to use introduction and greetings with “ How ..?”, greet people and identify oneself. 1.Language contents : * Grammar: - Comparatives. - Nice to meet you . - Nice to meet you again . - How is everything ? * Vocabulary classmate ,Nice to meet / see you again 2.Skills: Listening, speaking 3.Attitude : It helps ss to have motivation , happiness to communicate with each other in English . Besides, the lesson can helps ss work harder II. Teaching aids : Pictures , cassette 1.Teacher: Lesson plan, book, colorchalks, pictures 2.Students: Book, workbook III.Method: Role play , group work, question and answer. IV. Procedures: 1.Organization:(2’) + Who’s absent today? - Absent students: Nobody + What the date? + How are you today? - Class 7B - Date of teaching: 22/ 8/ 2016 - Class 7A,D - Date of teaching: 23/ 8/ 2016 2.Checking the old lesson: (3’) T asks SS to tell the greetings. T corrects the mistakes *Steps: Teacher & ss’ activities Contents Step1.Warm up (4’) - Divide the class into two teams and give some questions. • What’s your name ? • How are you ,today? • What class are you in ? • Are you a new student ? • Good bye. Ss:listen and slap the right pattern.They will win if they have many marks. Step2.Presentation - Set situation , present new words and structure with “so”. Then practice them Ss: Copy down and practice. - Play the tape and ask Ss to repeat then practice in pairs. Ss: Listen carefully & do as requested - Ask Ss to listen again and practice “ ask and answer” Ss: Practice in pairs. - Control and correct the mistakes. Step3. Practice - Have Ss read two columns carefully to match column A with column B. Ss: work in pairs & demonstate their task before the class. - Give feedback. - Ask Ss to open the book on page12 to complete dialogues. Ss: Work on their own first, then compare with their partners. - Have Ss listen and check their prediction. - Have Ss practice asking and answering the dialoguages in pairs - Stick the pictures of A 5/13. - Ask Ss to listen and write the letters of the dialogues in the order they hear - Remind Ss the different in greeting between ages and play the tape once. Ss: Listen carefully & do as the request. Compare the answer with their partner - Play the tape again and ask Ss to practice in pairs then role play. Ss: Listen and do as requested. - Show the picture and ask some questions Ss: Listen and answer - Have Ss listen to the dialoguage and then practice in pairs Step4.Production(3’) - Ask Ss to practice in pairs T: Remark all period aloud Ss: Listen carefully. • Slap the BB.
