Objectives : By the end of this period,ss will be able to talk about dates of the year and the pronunciation, talk and write about the ordinal numbers, the days, 1.Language contents: * Vocabulary :twelfth, twentieth, twenty- first, thirtieth * Grammar: - Present simple tense. - Future tense 2.Skills: Listening, speaking. reading 3.Attitude : It helps ss to have motivation , happiness to communicate with each other in English . Besides, the lesson can helps ss work harder II.Teaching aids :Color chalk , and sub-board, real thing. 1.Teacher: Englishbook, lesson plan 2.Students: Book, workbook III.Techniques : Listen and writing, order, jumbled words. IV.Procedures : 1.Organization:(2’) + Who’s absent today? - Absent students: Nobody + What the date? + How are you today? + Date of teaching: Class 7D: 14/ 9/ 2017 7B : 13/ 9/ 2017 7A: …………………… 2.Checking the old lesson: (3’) T asks SS to go to the board and write the new words T corrects the mistakes Teacher & ss’ activities Contents Step 1.Warm up - Have ss choose the cards with similar written. Step 2. Presentation T: ask some questions. T: elicit new words. Model them. Ss: listen and repeat in chorus and in groups. T: write them on the BB. Ss: Give meaning. Copy down. T: From warming up teacher introduces the new lesson and guide ss to read numbers. - Note the ways to read some special numbers Ss: Listen and copy down and practice reading . T: Hang on the calendar on the board and guide the requested first. Then read the transcription once. Ss: Listen carefully. Step 3.Practice T: Read aloud 2 times again and have ss to write the dates first , then write on the board. Ss: Listen and try to write. T: Look and read again , then correct mistakes. T: First teach ss about 12 months in a year , then ask ss to look at the mixing words and order them(use sub-board ) Ss: Look and try to do . T: Correct and order them again and have ss read aloud . 4.Consolidation:(1’) T: Remark and give exercises then guide ss to do .
